can't figure out why it won't run.  engine cranks but won't even cough.  Compression is good. Fuel supply and pressure is good, plugs are wet.  Spark appears good.  Exhaust is not blocked.  Spare ICM does not help.  Changed the temp sensor, air mass meter (I have a spare car for parts).  Seems like a sensor is creating an immediate flooding situation - can't tell about air control.  Coil is good, so are the spark plug wires.  Changed fuel filter at beginning of this and saw white slush (water) when it was 20 below.  Since then I pumped out gallons.

Once I went to get gas, car running great, got gas- same symptom (non-starting).  Rolled the car away from the pump and it started right up.
Performance started down hill from that point.  Now nothing.

Answer
It's possible you have some water still hanging out in your tank, even after the flush that found its way back into the fuel system.  Have you checked to see if any of the wetness on your plugs was water and not fuel?  At any rate it sounds like you've got water in your system somewhere.  You might have to try a more complete breakdown of the system to try and weed out any problems.  Check the fuel pumps for water, as well as the accumulator and filter.  Start at the injectors and work your way back.  I think you're on the right track to suspect water though.
