Volvo: 2000 S80 stalls at 70 mph., volvo specialist, best guess

Question
My 2000 S80 stalled at 70 mph when I (or the cruise control) decelerated. Check engine light comes on then engine stalls, power steering fails, etc. I pulled onto shoulder, restarted and continued. This happened four more times within a few minutes. I took it to the dealer. There are no codes stored and he can't get it to happen. One more thing. 1000 miles before this I had to stop suddenly while accelerating flat out. The engine stalled and "Service emissions system" message came up. The dealer said it got flooded and replaced the spark plugs. It ran OK after that but I started to get a lot of Check Engine's (especially when going downhill).
Any ideas?

Answer
Hello Joe! There should be a fault stored in the system. Especially if there are warning lights on. My best guess would be that there is a problem with the ETM (electronic Throttle Module). I would try another dealer or a Volvo specialist. It sounds like the dealer you are using does not know what they are doing! I hope this info helps.
