Volvo: the glove-box cannot be opened, box key, mechanical advantage

How do I get the glove-box open? Apparently some paper has been caught in the latch.

Answer
You have to twist the knob about 90 degress to the right to undo the latch.  If for some reason there is something caught from the inside, the only way I can think of to relase the latch is forcing the turn.  The other thing you could try would be to use the glove box key, which when inserted can also turn the latch.  That might give you better mechanical advantage to dislodge the paper.  Good luck!
