Volvo: V70 Check Engine Light - AGAIN!!, volvo specialist, fuel injection system

Question
Hey,
We bought a 99 V70 with 42K miles.  It was a certified car and the dealer sold us based on the 100K mile warranty.  Of course we didn't read the fine print - the one that says 100K or 72 months from the date of service.  Evidently our car rolled off the line in September of 1998 and so now the warranty is dead.  Unfortunately we have had the car into the dealer 3 times for "Check Engine Light".  All have been related to the fuel injection system.  Most recently they replaced both O2 sensors and since it was on our dime, we pushed that we were tired of time and now money and we expected the problem to be fixed!  The fix lasted not even 2 weeks and it is back on.  Off to the dealer again?  Any advise?  The dealer says it is a pain because the fuel injection system is not the standard one that came with "most' V70's.
Thanks,
John

Answer
Hello John! It sounds like your dealer has no idea what they are doing. I would try another dealer or a Volvo specialist. It is true that your fuel system is different from the earlier models, but they should still be able to fault trace it without a problem. Ask them what fault codes were stored in the system. I may be able to help you better with the codes.
