Please help!
The interior lights stay on and the key warning chimes ring with the door closed and the engine running.
In other cars I've had, there is a plunger type of device on the door to shut the interior lights out.I have no idea where it is on this car.
Could this be the problem? Might it be sticking?
What is it (the micro switch or whatever)that tells the car the door is shut?

Hello Gary! One of the door lock motors is bad. There is a microswitch in the lock motor. You cannot get the switch separately. You have to replace the entire lock motor. The part usually runs about $110.00. You just need to find out what lock is bad. My guess is one of the front doors. I hope this info helps.
