I have two problems.
1.Service light cannot be reset. Mechanic attempted to reset it at 79k mi (early for scheduled 80k service) and its been on ever since.

2.After collapsing middle row seat (drivers side single seat) the seat belt  will not extend back to original length. Too short to return seat to the upright position.

Hello Ron! to answer your questions, 1. how is the mechanic trying to reset the light? You need a special tool or it may be reset by using the diagnostic socket under the hood. Socket A pin 7 push button 4 times then again 1-5-1 waiting for the led to come back on after each press of the button.

2. Try unboltin the seat belt from the floor and then retract the belt. I would suggest replacing the belt. It will probably happen again!
