Volvo: 95 volo 850, 100k; had oil..., 4 quarts, cap seal

Question
95 volo 850, 100k; had oil change at 98k;
travelled to vacation and back, 2k in three
weeks; noticed oil leakage on driveway;  oil 4
quarts low, also condensation on dip stick; oil
seems to be leaking from the top of the (?)
block?

 Today a smell of burning oil coming from duh,
burnt oil on top of (?) block

Hello Glen! Check the oil cap seal and all other seals near the top of the engine. However, with a leak that bad, I would take it to a qualifeid Volvo technician ASAP. The oil can be coming from many different places. Without seeing the car it is impossible to diagnose.
