Volvo: Volvo fuel economy, poor fuel economy, s80 t6

I had previously asked Chris a question on 2/17/04 about my 2000 S80 T6 regarding my loss of power and my poor fuel economy.  He replied that a software update/upgrade was available.  When I inquired at the dealership about the software they informed me that it was no longer available.  Do you have any idea about the software pkg he was referring to?  Please help.

Hello Markus! The best thing to do is to ask the dealer what software updates are available. I am not aware of any software that will improve fuel economy. There are many software updates available for your car. I'm sure it could use one!
