Volvo: extended cranking time, fuel pump relay, many different things

Question
I have an '83 760 GLE that was stored for a couple of years.  There is no trouble starting cold or hot (turn off, immediate restart), but waiting 5 minutes to a couple of hours results in 5 minutes of cranking to restart.  It seems to be a little better since replacing the plugs and wires, the fuel pump in the tank, the "accordian" hose in the tank, the fuel filter, and checked the "check" valve.  Any other ideas?

Answer
Hello Trev1 That can be caused by many different things. However I would recheck the fuel fump check valve. Does it hold rest pressure? Have you checked the fuel pump relay? There could also be an ignition problem. When it is not starting you need to find out if there is spark and fuel. If you can give me more information, I can help you better.
