Volvo: SRS, volvo radio, flash code

Non Volvo radio stolen '91 940T. SRS light not on at this time. Week later a new radio installed, now SRS is on solid, no flash code. Don't know if they do, I am a Ford Senior tech. What to look for? Any info I can provide you about our product would be glad to help.

Firstly, read the code from the socket that is in the enigne compartment from B5. Push one time, then count the lamp flashes, or example 2 flashes stops 3 flashes stops 1 flashes. It means the code is 231. Then press the button approx 5 seconds then release it it will light approx. 3 secs through then press the button again approx 5 secs and then release it, the code will be erased.
