Driving & Driving Test Tips: roundabouts, driving test, peek

Question
hello there!, i was wondering if you could possibly give me a few tips for how to tackle round abouts. I passed my driving test in august but only got a car two months ago, so have only just gotten back into driving again. Iv never really had a problem with round abouts in the past, but for some reason i seem to find them quite difficult to tackle and have started to feel a little bit nervous on approach to them which i find really frustrating! Obviously i am aware that i need to give way to traffic on the right before i can approach but i find it quite scary when random cars which are already on the round about, come whizzing round. Iv had a few incidents where i have been able to go at the round about and at the very last second a car comes whizzing round and ends up beeping me. I know that there is something that i am doing wrong. I would really appreciate some tips for this as i am really becoming hesitant for fear of approaching cars! Thanks very much. Kind regards, claire

Answer
go out during times of off traffic to merge into the rould abouts then try at times of more traffic.  it is just a matter of making your move when it is safe to do so, but starting off at off peek times will let you become familiar with the dynamics of entry.
