Driving & Driving Test Tips: Scooter Ticket, dusk times, time conditions

Question
I got a scooter permit about three months ago, got the actual scooter two months ago and about a week ago got my first scooter ticket. I had gotten my license plates only a two days prior to being pulled over so I was pulled over for not having properly displayed plates. After that I was written up for driving at night with a permit which violates the restrictions. I typically leave work between 6 and 6:30 and so am almost never on the road after 7:00. The officer filled out the form messily and I can't tell if this counts as a misdemeanor or an infraction. So my question is this: What am I looking at in terms of punishment? Can they revoke/suspend my (car) driver's permit? Can I argue this in any way?

Answer
this is an infraction but could lead to your not obtaining a license for the scooter (M if in CA).  you should check the dqwn dusk times for your area to see if the time of the ticket was properly written.  if it was still dusk or dawn (30 minutes prior to sunrise or 30 minutes after sunset) then you sere still not driving in night time conditions.  I would argue the issues in court.
