Answer
Dear Michael,

Yes, you can have your licence SUSPENDED if you get several tickets of 3 points.

If get 18 points in a period of 1 year or 24 in a period of 2 years your licence will be suspended for 90 days. Your licence will not be restored until you have completed a driver improvement clinic. Once you have completed the course you will be placed on 6 moths probation.

If you get 12 points in a period of 1 year or 18 points in a period of 2 years you must also complete a driver improvement clinic. Your licence will not be suspended, but, if after 90 days from the date of the obtaining the 12th (or 18th) point you have not completed the course, then your licence will be suspended until you have completed the course.

If you are under 20 then the the driver improvement clinic must be classroom based otherwise it won't count.

I hope I have been of some help.

Happy motoring,

Paul
