QUESTION: hi, i have a 1983 jeep CJ5, the engine is rebult with about 1000 miles on it. i put a new carb on it. I am now storing it for the winter, i want to start it every now and then but after sitting even a week it is hard to start, it turns over for around 15-20 seconds before it catches. Is it not holding gas, or what? any help would be appreciated. the motor is an inline 6 258. with weber 2 barrel.

ANSWER: Kolby, it sounds like you might have a choke issue, is it electonic choke, or manual?

QUESTION: excuse me but you did not answer this question before forme, u asked if it was electric or manual i i answered your question so please if this is your way of tellinmg me you dont have a clue just say it, but if you have anymore ideas any would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time

I would say that you may need to install a  fuel pressure regulator, it should hold pressure even while sitting if it doesnt than replace it, I wasnt trying to kick your question out I accidently done that to like 3 of them the other night when I was tired so sorry for the missunderstanding there .
