Answer
Tyler,

I don't know the circumstances of where you are driving, or your shifting technique.  Is it an automatic, or a stick shift.
It's possible that you are getting the transfer case in a bind from driving on a hard surface.

Sometimes you can back up 5 to 15 feet or so and it will free up.

Other than that, I would suggest that you check out the owner's manual and see if you are shifting it in the prescribed manner.

If this doesn't help, you may need to have it towed to a transmission shop and have it checked out.

Whatever you do, don't drive it on a hard surface in low range as that will bind up the transfer case even more and can break it.
