4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: 2002 Toyota Sequoia, toyota sequoia, brakes and rotors

Question
My steering wheel shakes and truck vibrates (it seems to be coming from the front of the vehicle) whenever i apply pressure to my brakes; I had my brakes and rotors replaced about 6 months ago if it were my struts what other defects should I look for.

Answer
If it were your struts I would be looking for oil running out of the strut body, constant bad alignment, knocking sound when you hit bumps or sqeaking when you turn. Also when you go over a bump does the fron end bounce instead of stopping right away? This is another symtom of a strut. It sounds to me like your rotors are warped again causing the vibration. This is te only thing that will cause that type of vibration when braking. Do you do alot of highway driving? This can assist in building heat in the rotors and warping them over time especially if they were just machined and not replaced with new ones
