4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: 2003 Envoy- GMC, yokes, jerk

Hi Matt,

I have a 2003 envoy that I just love.  I noticed something this morning on the way to work.  When I apply the brakes and then start to accelerate, I feel a little jerk or tug in the rear.I have just noticed this. Any idea what that could be?

Seems like I remember GM having an issue with the slip yokes on theur trucks sticking from being dry and rusted inside. I would check with the dealer and see if your truck is one that may be affected and they will have a grease kit that will take care of ot
