4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: 1999 suburban belt tensioner, los cabos mexico, los cabos

Question
I have a 1999 suburban 2500 4x4 with AC and 7.4 L Eng
model k20906  vin 1GNGK26J9XJ498862.
parts books give gates 38108 but it does not fit, it has one mounting hole in the center and the pull mounted on an arm off the side of the tensioner housing.
The one I removed looks to be a Gates made in Canada. It has two mounting brackets on the side of the tensioner housing placed at 170  or 190  degree from each other, the holes 11.5 cm apart at the centers. The 9 cm smooth wheel is mounted to the tensioner with its center just in from the edge of the tensioner housing and the wheel covers the screw in the center of the housing. The wheel is moved clockwise to release the belt pressure.
I am in Los Cabos Mexico now and have been looking for weeks for the correct part or part number. The no. for SKF and Dayco correspond to the incorrect Gates 38103.
Sure would be grateful for any help.

Answer
Brent looks like that belt tensioner fits either the 5.7 or the 7.4 engine. I assume the 8th digit of your VIN number is a J right? Here is a link to a site named 1aauto.com, they have the tensioner on sale and this should be what you need

Try this out and see if it looks like the right one
