4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: chevy 79 k10 with holly avenger carb, vacuum problem, k10

Question
The is a loss of power in the lower rpm range and if i smash on the pedal it will stall. This started after put on the new carb i think it might have to do with a vacuum problem.

it may be a vacum issue , make sure there isn't a vacum leak at the base of the carb and all lines are connected. Also on the avenger it should have come with an assortment of secodary springs, try putting a stiffer spring in the secondary opener as the carb may be flooding the engine to death
