4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: 1999 GMC Jimmy, gmc jimmy, electrical contact

The left brake light will not work, only the right one.  Also the running lights and signal lights work>  What may be the problem?

Replace the bulb.  If this doesn't work look at the contacts inside of the housing and see if they are corroded.  If so, purchase some electrical contact cleaner and clean the contacts.

Next, check out the wiring and see if a wire may have broken, or pulled loose.
