4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: 1997 Ford Explorer XLT, broken spring, suspension component

Question
My explorer is leaning about 1 1/2" to the drivers side. What causes this and how can it be fixed?

Answer
Patrick,

Sounds like a broken spring, or suspension component.  To a lesser degree bad body mounts.  I would suspect a spring.

You will have to find the broken, or worn component and replace it.  If it is the springs, or spring, then you should replace the springs on both sides.  You may not have to replace both the rear and front, just the end that has the bad component.
