4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: car alarms prestige, vehicle alarms, prestige car

I ahve a 2000 toyota 4 runner, with a prestige car alarm. My car alarm always goes off ans was wondering how to turn off my alarm permanently.

Many of the newer vehicle alarms are tied in with the computer system.  If you can't find the answer in your user manual, then I would contact a locksmith that specializes in vehicles, and see what they would suggest.  If that doesn't work, then you may need to talk to your local Toyota dealer.
