my 97 ford explorer rightside headlamp doesnt come on after replacing the burnt out one,I check the otherside with the new and it came on. Daniel

Get a test light, and check out the wiring to the right headlamp to make sure that you have voltage to that part of the circuit.  Also, check the plug on that lights wiring harness.  The contacts may be corroded and not making a good connection.
