4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: CD Player, jeep wrangler, fuse box

I got the speakers hooked up, now I'm putting in a CD Player and I can't figure out where the hot wire goes to. It's a 1989 Jeep Wrangler. Thanks a lot.

  You should hook up the positive wire to the acc (accessory) side of the ignition switch.  You can find this wire by tracing the wires in your fuse box.  Find the fuse that goes to the stock radio, and tap into the wire leading to this fuse.  If this doesn't work, then you can trace out wires with a probe light.  The acc side of the ignition switch goes dead when you are cranking the motor over, but returns to hot when you let the key go back to the on position.
