Cadillac Repair: waterpump pulley, differant, pulley

I would like to know if I would need a regular puller to remove a water pump pulley off of 1997 caddy 4.6 northstar, or if some kind of way it screw off?

Hi Jeff, There shouldn't be any reason to remove the pulley because the new pump comes with a pulley on it already. If it doesn't for some reason then buy a pump that does. If there is some other reason you want the pulley removed then you will need to try differant 2 or 3 jaw pullers until you find one that works because I haven't needed to do this before. To remove the waterpump from the engine you will need a special socket tool and remove the pump from behind after removing the cover. Bill
