Jeep: Fan on Vacation, 2004 grand cherokee, grand cherokee

Question
I have a 2004 Grand Cherokee. I recently turned the air on for the first time this season and it lead to my fan never turning off. Needless to say this drained my battery and before I could get my car to the shop the car began to overheat because now the fan won't run at all. Is this a fuse problem or a sign of greater issues?

Answer
I am sorry, but there are so many variables, the cooling fan circuit is one of the most intricate systems in a vehicle.  The fan is controlled by the engine computer.  I would say it could be a stuck relay, or maybe some other wiring problem.  The fan probably quit working all together because it is either burnt up or has a fuse burnt up.  These Jeeps have been known for cooling fan problems.  I am sorry I couldn't be more help!  Hope you get it going!
