Car Alarms: unknow car alarm- need to disarm, mitsubishi montero sport, car alarm installation

Question
We just bought a used Mitsubishi Montero Sport and found out unintentionally that it had a car alarm the previous owner knew nothing about.  Apparently we have tripped the alarm.  The alarm's horn cable have been cut, but we cannot get it to start with the key in the ignition.  The lights on the dash and the turn signal lights are blinking in unison, without allowing the ignition to engage.  Any advice on how we can disarm the system?  The only identifying marker is that it is an Alpine.  My husband also found a switch under the dash labled "Alpine Impact Sensor."

Answer
No, sorry.
I am not familiar with that one.
