Suzuki: heater & AC not woking at all?, resistor pack, samurai suzuki

Question
So I gotta 1988 samurai suzuki and I'm getting nothing from the heater or the AC nothing is blowing anything I can do??

Answer
Historically, corroded connections and wires at the battery are frequent causes of problems like that. Check there first.
Check the fuses in the fuse box near where your left knee would be when driving.
Both the heater and A/C use the same blower fan which is located above the passenger right foot area.  An inadvertent passenger foot movement has been known to occasionally disconnect the blower motor wires in more than a few brands of vehicle.  The fan speed switch has been known to fail, as has the fan resistor pack that allows multiple fan speeds.  The switch is obviously in the dash, and the resistor pack is in the fan housing which allows it to be cooled by air from the fan.  Get a wiring diagram - if you look online, PDF copies of the factory manual are available for download.  (it's what I personally have and use)
