Suzuki: Oil leak at exhaust manifold, suzuki vitara, head gasket

I have a Suzuki Vitara with G16A motor that has developed an oil leak that appears to be coming from the exhaust manifold gasket in the region of No 3 and 4 cylinder ports. Where could this oil be coming from?

Answer
The only solution is to wash it, and then let it run until the origin of the leak can be identified.  Do NOT drive it initially, air currents have been known to cause oil to flow uphill, greatly confusing the issue.  The head gasket is just below the exhaust ports, and that's not far from an oil pressure feed to the head, if I remember correctly.
