what is the purpose of a throttle switch on 1985 jaguar xj6

Hi Steve,

The throttle position censer only has a full throttle switch inside and is there to tell the ECU to make the fuel mixture richer at full throttle.

Some of the other versions of the Bosch "L" Jetronic system used on other brands of cars actually have a throttle position censer in that box as well as the full throttle switch.
