Tips on Buying Cars: Used 2004 Grand Cherokee Jeep, jeep grand cherokee, grand cherokee jeep

Hi, I am looking at buying used 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, when I opened the hood, there was a lot of Rust, also rust under the vehicle as well.  The exterior and interior of the vehicle is very clean.  The dealer ship ran a Car fax and it was a lease return vehicle from Illnois.  Is the rust in a high humidity area common?  I live in Denver.  Is this a cause for concern to not purchase this vehicle?

Surface rust is quite normal, however not being able to inspect the vehicle myself, I would suggest you make deal subject to an independant mechanical inspection, it will cost you a few bucks but its peace of mind.
