Volvo Repair: Side Mirrors inoperative, sitch, v70

Hi:
I have a Volvo 1998 V70 Wagon with 30,000 miles.
It is garage kept.The side mirrors operated intermittently for a while. Now, they do not operate at all.
Any suggestions?

hello,
if the problem is intermittently, there may be door mirror motor problem, or cable of the motor problem or control sitch of the motor problem. Firstly, remove the switch and check it, may be switch has oxidation problem, clean its leads. After that check the cable from the switch until to the motor, maybe there are broken or damaged cable, if they are okay, the problem maybe mirror motor.
