Tips on Buying Cars: BMW vs Mercedes Benz, mercedes benz clk 350, bmw 335i coupe

With your experience would you buy with the 2007 BMW 335i coupe or the 2007 Mercedes Benz CLK 350 coupe, and for what reasons?

I have always been a huge fan of the 3 series BMW's, they are always well tuned performance luxury vehicles and the 2007 is even better.  I have no personal experience with the CLK350, but to be honest I don't think either will disappoint.  Both cars will be expensive to buy and expensive to own, and if you can afford the car, you can afford to fix it.  Neither will be super reliable, and both will perform well beyond the average drivers abilities.  I really like BMW's bi-turbo set up on the new 3 series, and its gotten nothing but great reviews.  Based on what I've read the CLK isn't as much as a performer, but the car itself is a well compiled luxury car.  Pick the one you like the most aesthetically, but if it were me, I'd get the twin turbo 3 series without second thought... I think it looks better.. and its a better performance machine.
