Tips on Buying Cars: salvage titles for motorcycles, best bet, new frame

I am looking at buying a new frame for my ATV (quad) and found several that
come with titles on ebay.  My question is are there collision or salvage titles
for motorcycles that would show up on the title?  I am not planning on selling
my quad any time soon, if at all.  Just thought I should ask.

Hmm... the last time I bought a quad there wasn't a title involved, but some states do have titles on off-road vehicles... as for collision, on motorcycles yes, ATV's.. I don't know... (ATV's and motorcycles are very different classifications) I would think not because you don't insure an ATV... you can always ask the seller.. if it has a salvage or anything like that it will show up on the title... If its just for the frame why does the title even matter? (just curious).. sorry I couln't be of more help... in my state all you need is a bill of sale, you don't get titles for off-road vehicles... best bet is to ask the seller, or even call the local DMV if you have a lot of patients...
