Answer
Hi Barry
Back in the late 80's till 2000 I would have said imports with Japanese leading the way and stay away from Korean vehicles.
Korean quality has come a long way and offer some excellent warranty's.
Domestic vehicles such as Ford and GM have also improved their quality,if I was in the market to buy I most likely would consider any of the above mentioned, Chrysler would not be on my shopping list.

What is my preferance and needs in a car may not be yours, my main objective would be getting fair value for my bucks as to what make and model I would choose.
As for Parts, Imports will be slightly higher on average compared to domestic.

You really have to find out on your own, how you like the way a car drives I may not like. Selecting a vehicle thats right for you will take some homework. go to this webpage  http://www.usedcartips.org/TESTDRI.html  from there navigate to the main page and study the 10 steps how to buy a car. When you find a vehicle you like feel free to contact me again should there be an area your not sure about
