Tips on Buying Cars: Returning a car, first mail, returning a car

Question
Yes I did buy this car a few months ago and I just haven`t been happy with it or the payment plan and I would like out of the deal all together. What I was asking is could I return the car back to the dealer and/or the finance company without oweing anymore payments? Will it go against my credit rating?

-----Question-----
I wanted to get a lower payment plan on my vehicle, but I was told the only way I can do this was to return it to where I bought it and leave it there. I can buy a newer car with lower payments. So will I have to finish paying for the other car I return or not? My zip code is 30260

Hi James
I understand what i am reading in your mail, yes we all want lower payments, you mentioned the word bought which means the title is in your name ???
If that the case you dont have to return vehicle to where you bought, did you lease ???

You dont have to finish paying of a car to trade it in, the dealer can pay out your trade and work payments into your new purchase...

James...I know i can help you but i need more info from your end than the 3 lines you e-mailed...check out my website and get back to me    http://www.usedcartips.org/

Answer
No you cant just return the car, you signed a contract and the car is yours, if you stop making payments the car will be a REPO and that will go against your credit score big time...
As for the dealer taking the car back, yes they may consider, but without even knowing type of car or what you paid you stand to loose big time this way as you will be offered much less than what you paid...

The question now is how to get out of your present situation without hurting your pocket book to much, send me, Year, Make, model, Miles, Payments, Term, and lets go from there...I noted you made your first mail private and not this one, make your reply private...
