Tips on Buying Cars: What car make will be best for less maintance and problems?, chevy impala, brand cars

Question
Im looking to buy a car, and I dont know if acura, mazda, or honda , which of these would be best brand to buy a car so it can last long with less problems etc.

Answer
An Acura is an upscale Honda so the reliability will be close to the same.  The repair cost on the Acura may be higher simply because of the dealer network and complexity of the car.

Mazda goes toward the bottom of my list for reliability and repair costs.

Personally, I also feel that the Japanese brand cars are totally overrated as far as reliability and workmanship.  Yes, Honda and Toyota are very good, but not nearly as good as they were 10 years ago.  At the same time, the domestic cars are much better than they were 10 years ago.  I have 70,000 miles on an '04 Chevy Impala that has never had a problem and cost much less than the smaller Japanese cars.  It will be replaced with another Impala when the time comes.

Good luck!
