Tips on Buying Cars: Inexpensive Used Car, gas mileage, andrew ray

Hello Ray,

I'm looking for a new used car.  I only have about $2200 to spend.  I would like a car with excellent gas mileage and a car that has a good record of lasting a long time.  Style and make are not important to me.  Looking for a very practical car only.  Any suggestions?

It easy for me to say get a Honda or Toyota,but with your budget condition and overall performance becomes the # 1 factor as to what type of vehicle you buy
Dont let Miles come into play in this price range there are many cars with high Milege in much better condition than some with much less, as for excellent gas mileage your first choice will be a 4 cyl

Now comes the fun part where most consumers have not done their homework to learn the steps getting valid value for their bucks
