Tips on Buying Cars: deals, fleet price, couple questions

Question
I have a couple questions the first one is a Chrysler so maybe all I can hope for is knowlege on nationwide deals.
My wife is looking at a PT Cruiser she works for a company that has some kind of nationwide deal and they tell her with their program she can get $2000 off for volume discount $1000 off for fleet and $500 off for national advertizing. Then to make this even better they say she gets it off the invoice price. All she has to do is take a list of codes to the dealer and when they put them in the discounts appear. What can you tell me about a program like this?
I may be in the market for a van in a few years does Ford or Chevy offer anything like this? If so how can I get connected?

Answer
Not quite sure it is going to work just like that. Ford offeres an X-Plan which is good for partners of Ford. It gives you a no hassle no haggle price. Teh other thing you are speaking of is fleet price. That will not work because the car needs to be registered in the company that holds the fleet codes name. I hope this answered your question.
