While your article about Fords experience in the internet field was factual and well presented, it was certainly the reason for Fords decline in sales,profits and share price.
When Jacques Nasser was given the helm by Fords Board of Directors, he was brought in from Ford of Europe, he implemented a "quality time management" program that totally destroyed employee morale at ford, alienated many of the management and engineering staff and literally decapitated the company.  It took many years to convince this and the main reason was the dealers threatened to mutiny if he was not replaced.  The introduction of Bill Ford was the thumb in the dike, but seems to be working.  He has won back the loyalty of the employees, management and most importantly the dealers.  He has just introduced a hybrid vehicle that should be a great stride forward.  I really enjoyed your article and would not even have known about it if a student from India had not contacted me through ask the expert and wanted my opinion.  I have put a shortcut to your site on my system and will read it with great interest.
