Tips on Buying Cars: Buying a used car, car lot, buying a used car

Question
I want to buy an automobile (2000-2003),the most frugal way possibly, either by take over payment or buying from a car lot.  If I buy from a car lot, I may have some money to put down but most of it has to be financed.

Any suggestions that will help with getting the best deals or keeping cost down as much as possible will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Answer
The easiest way for you to get the best deal is go to Autobytel.com. They are a service the dealerships subscribe to for leads. They agree in advance to sell vehicles very close to the actual invoice cost. Sometimes a few hundred above or even below. Go to the site and put in a request for the vehicle of your choice. In a short time you will have a dealer calling you with exactly what you want, and at the best price possible. I hope this helps and please take a moment to rate my answers I take pride in have the best ratings possible.
