RSX-interior mechanica   I am thinking of buying a 2002 ACURA RSX TYPE-S (57K) that has a rebuilt title for 6500. the seller does not know what happened to the vehicle prior to his owning it (or he does not want to tell me) and he mentioned that the 2nd gear is grinding maybe because of bad clutch or either gear is going out, would you recommend buying it? And it has 25 histories on the carfax.

You know $6500. is a lot of coin for something 10 years old with a grinding gear and a rebuilt title, even the miles smells a bit funny, personally with the information you provided I pass.

If you are hot to trot on the car simply make your offer subject to an independent body shop and mechanical inspection, sorry but I just get the feeling there is a lot more here than meets the eye.
