Tips on Buying Cars: prelude, honda prelude, craking

hi my neighbor is selling a 1986 honda prelude. it is fully customized with paint,exhaust,dvd player,sound system, nos, body kit, rims, gauges. he told me he would sell it to me for 1,500 wout/dvd or 2,000 with it its interior is not the best in the world but it is good enogh. it has about 50,000 miles on new engine and trans. its front end was redone and it is kind of craking so im wondering if it is a good deal if you could help i would appreciate it?

When you buy a car that is 18 years old you are always taking a chance.  However, if you are satisfied with the price and the vehicle take it to a mechanic you trust and have him check it over carefully.  A good deal is always where both parties are happy.  Best of luck, Bud
