Tips on Buying Cars: Which new car?, chevrolet cruze, reliable cars

Question
Hello Don, you helped me out on a previous question recently and I have another, somewhat opinionated, question. That being said, I am having great difficulty choosing a vehicle. I generally keep vehicles past that ten year mark and the next car I buy will follow suit. So here are my choices -Chevrolet Cruze, Honda Civic, Hondai Accent/Elantra. I am basically looking for a vehicle with dependability and reliability. Comfort and accessories comes second. Fuel mpg is important but not a deal breaker. Price is another very large factor. The Cruze caught my eye. The current deals offered at one dealership is selling new '12 Cruze for $14,000! Thats a great deal, but I heard these are not very reliable cars compared to the Civic or other vehicles. What is your opinion on this? I intend on spending no more than $20,000. Thank you Don again for any advice. Sincerely, Jared C.

Answer
Jared:It seems the choices you have made are good cars. However in making a decision on what works for YOU,drive these cars.

A good example; is a review of a movie. The reviews may be good, but after you see it,you do not like it.Automobiles decisions need to be rated from what YOU think will work.
And the big reason certain cars sell is the warranty. But comfort is important(are those seats soft and support you well?)

The most important thing is the test drive, and after that,I think YOU will make a great decision!
