Tips on Buying Cars: buying a known lemon, nissan altima, factory warranty

I'm looking at a 08 nissan altima that was a buyback.The dealer says the problem has been fixed (air bag light).Would you recommend buying a car that has a branded title;If so how much does this lower the value.I'm not worried about resale later on only about reoccurring problems.

Keith:The only concern I see is the reminder of factory warranty,(on Nissan 5 years or 60,000 miles on powertrain)which may be void. And as for the title,I guess it could affect the value.My suggestion is to consider a different car,especially if your concern is the resale value.This car may be a "buy" with a possible maintance,this car could cost you more money.In short,look at a "certified" car with a good title.Good luck!
