Tips on Buying Cars: first time buyer, customer satifaction, cars under 5 000

Question
Hello I am a young student and looking to buy a car (used). I been looking but I can't find good deals, I will be paying cash but I don't know on which vehicles I should focus on. I am looking for a cheap, economical car. Please advise.

Answer
Maria:I suggest looking for a Honda,Toyota,or a Ford Focus and Chevy Cobalt.Depending on your budget, cars under $5,000 were cash for clunkers with repair costs and high miles. Most importantly, don't be choosy.Select a car that fits your driving needs. With a good carfax report,a car with 60,000 miles is not bad, when you consider how much you can pay.Also-only purchase from a dealer with good customer satifaction. And from experience,DON'T buy from a family member or friend. With careful research, and checking the dealer websites, you will find a car!Good luck!
