Tires: Assurance Tires, incompatibility problem, hunter gsp9700

Question
I purchased 4 new Assurance Fuel Max Tires for my 2008 4Runner from a tire store I have used for 20 years.  I get a shimmy at about 60-65 mph even though the dealer has tried everything to balance the tires, including replacing 2 of the tires.  He said that the tires may not be compatible with the car and offered to replace the tires. Have you ever heard of such an incompatibility problem?

Answer
Don,

It's possible one or more of the tires is ...ah ... let's call it "out of round".  Unless your dealer has a Hunter GSP9700 RoadForce machine, he could search for a long time to find it.

I'm going to guess that he doesn't and that's what is causing the problem.
