Tires: inflation, oe tire size, cooper tires

I recently purchased 4 Cooper tires what is the comparison between Cooper and OEM Goodyear please ?
I drive a Murano SL running Cooper 235/65/18 tires.
I checked the new tire pressure and the shop went 37 PSI  Placard says 33 psi all around ???

Short Answer:

The relationship between tire size and load carrying capacity is independent of the manufacturer.  If the placard says to use 33 psi for the OE tire size, then if you do not change tire size, that pressure applies to a different manufacturer.

However, some folks think you should use a different pressure - for various reasons.  So you may find some differences in what people recommend - but it has nothing to do with the differences between manufacturers, per se.
