Tires: correct tire load for my volvo s80, volvo s80, 18 wheels

Question
Hi! I'd like to know what is the lowest acceptable load capacity for tires I may buy for my volvo s80 2001 (engine T6). Specification on the fuel cap has following data:
215/55 R16, 225/55 R17, 235/40 R18 - front/rear, max load pressure: 2.7 bar
min load pressure is 2.5 for 235 tires and 2.2/2.1 (front/rear) for 215 and 225.
I've bought the car with slightly different tires - 215/60R16 95V and I plan to change them into wider 225, 235 or even 245 with 18" wheels. According to technical data car weight itself is 1667kg and max allowable weight is 2120 kg (with maximum 1120/1040kg for front/rear wheels).

Answer
I only have information about vehicles supplied to the US - and there are differences in vehicles from country to country.

BUT you have located where to find the information you seek.

Included with each tire size on the fuel cap should have been a Load Index.  That's the 2 numbers after the size:  95V = 95 Load Index, V speed rating.

The Load Index will tell you the lowest recommended load carrying capacity.
