Tires: 62 ford falcon, ford falcon futura, bias ply tires

I have a 62 ford falcon futura and I need to know what size tires to get for it. it has 13 in rims and the tires that are on it now are from at least 1982 and the size on them are B78-13 what size is that now

As time has gone on, the way in which tires are sized has changed - and part of what comes along is that there MIGHT be tires that will work, but they aren't exactly the same.

In your case, the original tires were 6.00-13 bias ply tires.  The nearest modern equivalent is 165R13 or 175/70R13.

BTW, Coker tires offers authentic, but recently produced tires in the proper sizes - if you want to maintain the original look.
